The Shrimp Basket, founded in Gulf Shores, will open in the central business district of Cullman in 2019.

Mayor Woody Jacobs and the Cullman City Council made the announcement Friday.

Scott VonCannon and Jeff Sommers with Retail Strategies notified the city of the lease for The Shrimp Basket on Friday. The business will be located in the former Title Max building at 716 2nd Avenue, N.W., across from Cullman Shopping Center.
