BIRMINGHAM, AL (March 8, 2023) – Dade City, Florida has partnered with Retail Strategies, a national community development firm, to create and implement a retail recruitment plan for the city. The Retail Strategies team will act as the representative for Dade City to attract potential retail and restaurant businesses. This strategic collaboration will provide the city with the opportunity to expand its retail outlets and further enhance the local economy.
Additionally, the partnership will focus on placemaking for the city’s downtown area from the Downtown Strategies team at Retail Strategies. To spur action, the Downtown Strategies team will take a walking tour of the area, followed by a strategic visioning workshop with downtown merchants and key stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities. This collaborative effort will guide the direction of the strategic plan Downtown Strategies creates.
