PROVEN PROCESS = RESULTS
Retail takes time and trust. Our process allows us to develop long-term partnerships with our client communities and retailers, laying the foundation for continued growth.
We’ve helped cities nationwide with retail expansion, read about some of those stories below.

Not all retail consultants are what they are cracked up to be, but this has been a completely different experience. We’ve already seen a difference in such a short time.

Retail Strategies
Retail Strategies has been a valuable partner in our efforts to grow our community’s retail offerings.
Retail Strategies’ experience, knowledge, and relationships throughout the retail community has aided our attraction efforts and helped us secure new businesses that complement our County.
I would highly recommend Retail Strategies. They have been a great partner to the Hendry County Economic Development Council in our recruitment efforts to bring more retail opportunities to the county. Their experience, knowledge, and relationships throughout the retail community combined with their friendly approach has made them a valued partner in our community’s growth efforts.

The thing that we really liked about Retail Strategies is that they work together with you and the community. We had to put together an executive committee that consists of some town employees, officials, some citizens and plus myself from the chamber. Retail Strategies has a very diverse background. They have people that are from economic development, they have people that were realtors, they have people that are downtown development directors, people that are in tourism, people that are in retail, so they really have all avenues.

Retail Academy has given me the foundation to feel confident when reaching out to potential retailers and bringing them to our community.”

My Retail Academy book stays on my desk. The research and market analysis were eye-opening. Of the eight prospects on our list, we have landed two of them so far. We had all the information ready when we connected with the retailer – that’s what made this so invaluable.”

Retail Strategies
Located between Chicago and Milwaukee, our community of 25,000 residents and 10 square miles sought assistance from retail strategies to attract retailers. Over the course of nine years, retail strategies invested time and effort in understanding our community, establishing relationships, and gathering data, resulting in the successful attraction of five projects with more expected in the next three years. Their expertise, relationships, and dedicated support have proven invaluable as they act as our economic development arm, complementing my role as the one-person office responsible for multiple tasks in City Hall. The partnership has been a game-changer, and even with a seemingly perfect product, retail strategies continuously strive for improvement, making them an exceptional and appreciated team.

“The new Entertainment District is two streets and encompasses 6-8 blocks – we started small. In the ordinance, we wrote to allow for changes in the future so that we can expand it and add businesses to it. Currently, it covers three venues and when people purchase a drink within the Entertainment District, they’re allowed to walk around with their drinks while staying in the district. People are walking up and down the streets hanging out. It has helped the businesses that don’t serve alcohol. It’s already creating more foot traffic downtown.”
