Brooke brings a background in commercial real estate and development to Downtown Strategies, where she supports Downtown Business Recruitment clients. Drawing on her experience building out the development division at sister company Retail Specialists, she manages recruitment operations and client deliverables with a focus on execution and follow-through.
Brooke is an Alabama native through and through, born and raised in the southeasternmost part of the state before attending Troy University to earn her bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising. She is 2022 Alumnae of the Momentum Leaders: Upward Early Career Program, a women’s leadership program that empowers a diverse group of promising women to develop leadership skills that positively impact business, culture, & politics in Alabama.
As a lover of plants and nature, Brooke enjoys curating her houseplant collection, tending her vegetable and herb gardens, and cultivating her backyard into a haven for native plants and wildlife. Despite the Alabama heat and humidity, she is always looking for an excuse to spend time in the great outdoors birdwatching, reading, or exploring hiking trails and state parks with her husband and their dogs.
