BIRMINGHAM, AL (April 2, 2025) – The City of Belmont, North Carolina, has selected Retail Strategies, a leading national retail consulting firm, to spearhead retail recruitment and development initiatives. This partnership will capitalize on Belmont’s strategic location as a western suburb of Charlotte and its proximity to Charlotte Douglas International Airport along Interstate 85.
The growing city of 15,000 residents has experienced significant population growth, nearly doubling in size since the 1990s. The partnership will focus on attracting full-service restaurants, grocers, fast-casual dining establishments, general merchandise retailers, and hotel development along the Wilkinson Blvd. corridor to serve the expanding community.
