BIRMINGHAM, AL (August 26, 2024) – The City of Fairfield, Alabama and Retail Strategies are pleased to announce a partnership to enhance the city’s retail landscape, revitalize vacant properties, and attract new businesses and stimulate local economic growth.
Retail Strategies will implement a comprehensive approach to meet Fairfield’s retail economic development goals, focusing on:
- Market Analysis
- Development of a ‘Results Driven’ Retail Recruitment Plan and Strategy
- Implementation of the Recruitment Strategy
- Marketing Fairfield to potential businesses and developers
- Representation of real estate opportunities in Fairfield at retail conferences
“The Fairfield City Council is committed to improving the quality of life for our residents, and a key part of that is providing shopping and dining options,” said City Councilman Cedric Norman. “After attending the Retail Academy event hosted by Retail Strategies, we gained valuable insights into our development challenges and real estate opportunities. Our city saw the need and value to engage the Retail Strategies team to address property concerns and consult with us on real estate and zoning issues that will help us attract businesses that meet our community’s needs and desires.”
