BIRMINGHAM, AL (March 3, 2025) – The City of Greensboro is partnering with Retail Strategies to spearhead retail and restaurant development in key focus areas throughout the Gate City. The partnership will concentrate on strategic real estate sites involved in redevelopment areas.
“Retail Strategies has a proven track record of retail advisory success in North Carolina communities,” said Marshall Yandle, Greensboro’s economic development manager. “Their data-driven approach and understanding of our market’s potential made them the clear choice to help advance the City’s development objectives.”
The goal is to attract quality retail and restaurants to these vital corridors, while maximizing the potential of properties in redevelopment areas. Retail Strategies will provide comprehensive market analysis and active recruitment services to identify and secure new development opportunities.
“Greensboro’s strong growth trajectory and progressive approach to development makes this an exciting partnership,” said Lacey Bacchus, senior director of community partnerships. “We’re especially enthusiastic about working with the City’s public-private partnerships to identify and secure the right opportunities for these strategic properties.”
Retail Strategies will be an extension of the City’s economic development team, representing the City of Greensboro at industry conferences and directly engaging with retailers, restaurants, and developers.
