BIRMINGHAM, AL (May 7, 2022) – Corbin, Kentucky has selected Retail Strategies, the leading national community development firm, to develop and execute a retail recruitment plan on behalf of the city. After participating in Retail Academy, a retail education program that Corbin city leaders participated in, the city has decided to further the partnership having the Retail Strategies team represent the community to potential retail and restaurant companies.
“After participating in our retail education program, we discussed the city’s need for additional support in continuing support with retail attraction,” said Mill Graves, director of business development for Retail Strategies. “We are all excited to take the partnership with Corbin to the next level to help them advance the community’s retail goals and growth potential. “

Through the partnership, the city will receive a tailored retail recruitment plan along with proactive retail and broker outreach by the Retail Strategies team. The team will perform a real estate market analysis of the businesses located in Corbin and identify areas of opportunity with expanding businesses. Additionally, proactive outreach to potential businesses, property owners, brokers, and developers will be made on behalf of Corbin.
