BIRMINGHAM, AL (April 25, 2022) – Haines City, Florida has formed a partnership with Retail Strategies, the leading national community development firm, to develop and execute a retail recruitment plan on behalf of the community. Through the newly-formed relationship, the Retail Strategies team will represent the community to potential retail and restaurant companies.
The city manager for Haines City, Edward Walker Dean, stated, “Our partnership with Retail Strategies ensures our city has a proactive, asset-based strategy for recruiting retailers to our area. We are well-positioned for the growth we envision in our community. Retail Strategies will act as an extension of the city to focus on attracting the right retail and restaurant brands to the community.”

Through the partnership, the city will receive a tailored retail recruitment plan along with proactive retail and broker outreach by the Retail Strategies team. The team will perform a real estate market analysis of the businesses located in Haines City and identify areas of opportunity with expanding businesses. Additionally, proactive outreach to potential businesses, property owners, brokers, and developers will be made on behalf of Haines City.
