Birmingham, AL– Retail Strategies has hired Matthew Tate as part of its business development team.
“I couldn’t be happier to have found a home, in Retail Strategies. A firm that appreciates the years of hard work I have put in to building long-lasting relationships with communities,” Tate said. “Retail Strategies is a company that understands people are it’s most valuable asset and everyone they come into contact with gets treated like family. I am extremely excited to have access to the entire suite of solutions for communities both big and small and a team that supports meeting the unique needs of the communities we serve.”
Tate brings more than six years of experience to Retail Strategies, having spent the majority of his career leveraging data to help cities understand and expand their retail footprint.
Tate’s experience includes working closely with municipalities to help educate them on their retail potential and working hand-in-hand with city leaders to help create and execute successful retail recruitment strategies. In addition to his work with municipalities, Tate also served as the main point of contact for his retail “C-Suite” partners, advising them when opening new locations.
