BIRMINGHAM, AL (January 22, 2020) – Leading recruitment firm, Retail Strategies, has partnered with Mission Viejo, Calif., for an in depth downtown strategic plan as well as a full retail recruitment partnership. Mission Viejo will be the first California city to work with Retail Strategies on recruiting retail while also creating a strategic vision with downtown stakeholders.
The Retail Strategies team will begin by hosting a downtown visioning workshop with city leaders and downtown stakeholders. From there, an assessment of the downtown design, tourism and promotion opportunities, economic vitality, and market analysis will be completed, and a strategic plan will be delivered to the city. The retail recruitment component of the partnership will focus on market infill in commercial vacancies as well as pad sites along the I-5 corridor.
