BIRMINGHAM, AL (September 17, 2024) – The City of Montgomery, Texas, in partnership with the Montgomery Economic Development Corporation, is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Retail Strategies. The city selected Retail Strategies for their economic development expertise in retail and downtown redevelopment. They will focus on Montgomery’s national retail recruitment strategy and develop an actionable five-year strategic plan for downtown Montgomery.
This comprehensive partnership signifies a pivotal step towards improving the economic landscape of Montgomery. By leveraging Retail Strategies’ community development experience and resources, the City intends to amplify its efforts in nurturing a business-friendly environment downtown and stimulating sustainable retail growth across the community.
