While the city is currently executing a comprehensive plan but also chose to work with Downtown Strategies because of its short-term, bite-sized approach. Through this new partnership, the Downtown Strategies team will conduct a Strategic Visioning Workshop to hear from downtown stakeholders. This input, along with market data and the city’s vision, will drive the five-year strategic plan that the city will ultimately receive.
Downtown Strategies will leverage its expertise in downtown development to provide tailored solutions that address the unique needs of Olathe. By combining data-driven insights with community input, the city will receive a five-year strategic plan that promotes sustainable growth, enhances the quality of life for residents, and attracts new businesses and investment to the area.
