BIRMINGHAM, AL (September 15, 2022) – Benton, Arkansas, has selected Retail Strategies, the leading national community development firm, to create and execute a retail recruitment plan. After discussions with city administration, the city formalized the partnership to proactively recruit retail and leverage Retail Strategies’ real estate network.
“Benton has a great mix of new and old retail with plenty of real estate to grow along their multiple interstate exits. Benton will be capitalizing on their growing population to expand their retail base further to ensure a higher quality of life,” said Clay Craft, vice president of client services for Retail Strategies.

Recruiting diverse retailers and adding service-related options to Benton will enhance our residents’ quality of life and bring additional jobs and tax revenues.”
Through the partnership, the city will receive a tailored retail recruitment plan based on in-depth market analysis, consumer data, a real estate assessment, and proactive retail and broker outreach by the Retail Strategies’ team.
