City of Columbia Celebrates Grand Opening of Bealls at Columbia Mall
The City of Columbia proudly joined community leaders and residents to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Bealls store at Columbia Mall. This milestone marks a significant step in the mall’s ongoing revitalization and represents a $10 million investment in the city’s economic growth.
The investment includes site-specific improvements by Bealls alongside broader infrastructure enhancements to transform Columbia Mall into a modern, vibrant retail hub. Highland Capital, the mall’s new owners, has spearheaded the redevelopment efforts, focusing on creating an inviting destination for shoppers and businesses alike.
“The success of Bealls along with Five Below, Ulta, and Academy at the mall are a result of a collaborative effort between the City of Columbia, Columbia IDB, Highland Capital, and Retail Strategies,” said Mill Graves, Vice President of Retail Strategies. “A true public-private partnership effort to enhance Columbia’s retail landscape and revive a long underutilized asset.”
