BIRMINGHAM, AL (September 7, 2022) – The City of Granbury, Texas is set to focus on the future of retail and restaurant development in the community by attending Retail Academy. City staff will attend the day-long program where they will learn about the consumer population through data and learn how to turn that data into action by speaking to retail real estate decision makers. The Retail Academy will take place on September 28 in the Retail Strategies Fort Worth office.
“Our city is ready to take the next step in expanding our retail node and we believe that Retail Academy will help us in speaking ‘real estate’,” said Lance LaCour, Director of Economic Development for the City of Granbury. “We have a strong retail and restaurant presence in Granbury, so understanding what potential retail brands are a best fit for our market is a valuable piece of Retail Academy as well.”
“Granbury is an extremely appealing market to expanding retailers given its population growth and proximity to the DFW metroplex,” said Christopher Bontrager, vice president of Retail Strategies’ western division.
