BIRMINGHAM, AL (October 31, 2021) – Union County Economic Development Growth Enterprise (EDGE) has selected Retail Strategies to provide data, analytics, and a retail recruitment strategy on behalf of the county. This partnership will include trade area and demographic data, a real estate analysis, and retail prospects that best match the city of Monroe and town of Indian Trail.
“Union County EDGE was created to stimulate and develop the communities in Union County,” said Chris Plate, executive director of Union County EDGE. “Retail Strategies gets tangible results for their partners that are produced from their innovative approach to economic development. There has already been great work started in Monroe and we are excited to expand this partnership for further success in Indian Trail as well.”

Through the new partnership, Retail Strategies will perform a real estate market analysis of the businesses located in Monroe and Indian Trail and identify areas of opportunity with expanding businesses. The Retail Strategies team will work hand in hand with city leaders to help them understand their market and highlight opportunities for expansion. The team will provide outreach and recruitment to targeted retailers.
