Deer Park, Washington Begins Retail Recruitment and Downtown Revitalization with Retail Strategies

The city of Deer Park is excited to announce a new partnership with Retail Strategies, the leading community development firm. The partnership will include a tailored retail recruitment plan and a five-year action plan for the downtown area. This relationship will set in motion Deer Park’s proactive retail attraction and downtown revitalization efforts.

“Together, we aim to bring in a diverse mix of retailers that will not only improve the shopping experience for our residents but also contribute to the overall economic vitality of our city. Retail Strategies will serve as our representative, connecting us with developers, brokers, and expanding retail companies to identify prime opportunities for development,” said Mayor Tim Verzal.

To kick off the new downtown strategic plan, there will be a Downtown Strategic Visioning Workshop held on May 15 with downtown stakeholders. This serves as the first phase to developing the five-year action plan.
